Conditions Core Rehabilitation treats: Conditions we treat across Polk County, FL
If pain, stiffness, dizziness, or weakness is keeping you from the things you need to do, physical therapy is an evidence-supported first-line option for many of them — one therapist, start to finish, at three Polk County clinics.

Serving Lake Wales · Haines City · Winter Haven
Where physical therapy fits: A conservative, movement-first path — before you consider medication or surgery
Physical therapy is designed to help reduce pain and restore how you move, so you can get back to work, sleep, and the activities that matter — often without imaging, injections, or an operation.
Our therapists start with a thorough evaluation to understand what's actually driving your symptoms, then build a plan that combines hands-on treatment with the right exercise for your body and your goals. You work one-on-one with the same licensed physical therapist throughout — not handed off to aides between visits.
Below are the areas we most commonly help with. Choose the one that fits you to see how we assess it, what treatment involves, and what recovery tends to look like. Physical therapy isn't right for every situation — some symptoms need a physician first — so your therapist confirms what's appropriate at your first visit, and individual results vary.

How we treat them: Every condition here is treated the same careful way
One method behind all of them — a thorough evaluation, skilled hands-on care, and active exercise, one-on-one with the same therapist, start to finish. The full picture of how we work, and why it's an evidence-supported first step, lives on our services page.
Getting started: Two things people ask before their first visit
Do I need a referral?
In Florida, most patients can begin physical therapy without a physician's referral under the state's direct-access law. Some situations still call for a referral, and your insurance plan may have its own rules. Our direct-access page walks through exactly how it works.
Balance, dizziness, & fall
We work with many major insurance plans, and our team can help you understand your coverage before you begin. Coverage and requirements vary by plan. See which insurers we accept and how benefits typically apply.
